As of Tuesday, 6 June 2017, Road Access To The Departures Level Swiss Side closed

 Friday, June 9, 2017

Euro AirportStarting 6 June until beginning of July 2017, access to the Departures level (level 3) on the Swiss side of the airport is closed to all traffic due to road works. The road works, which are necessary to improve the quality of the infrastructure in front of the airport building, could last for up to six weeks depending upon weather conditions.

Car drivers are requested to use the car park facilities on the Arrivals level (level 2).

During the road works, bus line 50 which connects EuroAirport to the train station in Basel will operate on the Arrivals level (level 2) and make a short stop there to allow travellers to get on and off. Travellers who usually stay on the bus to alight at the next stop “Verwaltung” have the possibility to get off the bus at a provisional bus stop marked “Verwaltung” after the stop “Cargo” near the first roundabout in front of the airport building.

EuroAirport management recommends car drivers coming to the airport to take suitable precautions and plan more time for their journey.
