Australian Open 2025 Tickets Now Available as Tennis Fans Prepare for an Unforgettable Event in Melbourne

Tennis enthusiasts are gearing up for a thrilling experience as tickets for the Australian Open 2025 are officially on sale today. The event, proudly supported by the Allan Labor Government, is set to attract hundreds of thousands of fans to Melbourne.

Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, Steve Dimopoulos, announced the ticket release alongside Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley. Following the remarkable success of the 2024 Australian Open, which saw over one million fans flock to Melbourne’s iconic sporting precinct, the upcoming tournament promises to deliver even more excitement.

The 2025 Australian Open will span 15 action-packed days, showcasing the world’s best tennis players. Fans can expect not only thrilling matches but also a vibrant atmosphere filled with entertainment and activities suitable for all ages. The Melbourne Park precinct will feature a variety of options, including the AO Live event with performances from international acts, as well as numerous food and drink venues in and around Garden Square and Grand Slam Oval.

The previous tournament generated an impressive $533 million in economic benefits for the state, contributing to a total of over $3.1 billion for Victoria over the past decade. Notably, more than 620,000 hotel nights were booked during the 2024 event, surpassing previous records by nearly 50,000. Additionally, the average daily expenditure per person reached a record high of $308.

The Labor Government has made a significant commitment to securing the Australian Open in Melbourne until 2046, investing nearly $1 billion in the Melbourne Park Redevelopment. This investment ensures that the iconic event and its world-class facilities continue to attract visitors from around the globe year after year.

Mark your calendars: the Australian Open will take place from Monday, January 6, to Sunday, January 26, 2025, with the main draw commencing on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this unforgettable sporting event!
