Australian tourismThis April, South Australia will welcome the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) to Adelaide. This B2B event will attract more than 1,500 Australian seller delegates from around 550 companies, 700 key buyer delegates from more than 30 countries and more than 80 international and Australian media for meeting and developing future tourism businesses for the country.

With partnership from Tourism Australia and the South Australian Tourism Commission, this global event will be held from April 15-19 at the newly renovated Adelaide Convention Centre.

ATE will be showcasing South Australia’s food, wine, and tourism offerings, and assemble Australian tourism businesses, along with global tourism wholesalers and retailers for networking events and over 50,000 scheduled business appointments.

ATE would also provide the opportunity to experience Australia’s tourism offerings first-hand through pre- and post-event FAM trips. One will get to explore the state of South Australia, including the wine regions of Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra; Kangaroo Island, known for its wildlife, active excursions and beaches; Flinders Ranges for ancient landscape and Australian Outback experiences; and also the event’s host city and state capital of Adelaide among others. Adelaide has recently been added to the list of the world’s Great Wine Capitals.

ATE aims to boost South Australia’s $1.1 billion international tourism business through the relationships and business facilitated at the event.
