Due to the ongoing corona crisis, flexibility in travel planning is more important than ever. For this reason, Austrian Airlines already changed its ticket tariff structure at the end of August and suspended the rebooking fee for all fares.

The fare offer was originally valid until the end of the year and will now be extended by two months. All tickets can be rebooked free of charge up to February 28, 2021, regardless of the fare booked. Until the end of February, passengers can rebook as many times as they wish and need without a rebooking fee. Afterwards one further rebooking is possible free of charge. The regulation applies to new bookings worldwide on short, medium and long-haul flights. If the original booking class is no longer available, for example due to a change in date or destination, additional costs may apply.

On the Austrian Airlines website, passengers will find information on travel in times of corona, mandatory wearing of masks, country-specific travel regulations or flexible rebooking arrangements. The information is updated on an ongoing basis.
