Starting on Saturday 4 June, Austrian Airlines is ready for take-off to Valencia. The red-white-red flag carrier is once again expanding its route network and is taking course towards the Costa Blanca. Initially, Austrian Airlines will offer two weekly non-stop flights to the Spanish metropolis every Tuesday and Saturday. Therefore, Valencia will be among Austrian Airlines’ 110 destinations.

With more than 150.000 bookings during the Whitsun Weekend, Austrian Airlines registers another travel peak. The return to long-term travel planning for the summer months is also particularly pleasing. For flights in the months of April to September, incoming bookings at Austrian Airlines are currently almost four times higher than in the previous year. The national flag carrier prepares for full planes this summer with a 20 percent larger offer to European holiday destinations, compared to 2019, and new cabin staff.

Austrian Airlines CCO Michael Trestl: “Destinations around the Mediterranean are widely popular. With the inclusion of Valencia in our flight plan, we ensure to meet the unstoppable wanderlust of many Austrians. We are continuously expanding our route network which is already partially higher than prior the pandemic”.

The flights in detail:
