Ayush medical tourism vocation course can improve tourism, says Sonowal

In the Ayush sector, Ayush medical tourism and vocation training courses were the four main amplifiers which can be most effective use to perk up employment generation in the country, on Thursday, the Union Minister of India, Sarbananda Sonowal said this.

As part of the ‘Ayurveda@2047 – Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal’ initiative, the Ayush minister went to the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus and called on experts as well as the students there to take in the slogan ‘Har Din, Har Ghar Ayurveda’ to rejoice the seventh Ayurveda Day on October 23rd.

The Union minister, while interacting with others, from the Ayurveda sector, he emphasized the four amplifiers that have huge potential for employment generation in the country. Also, the minister recognized the university for taking measures toward development of Ayurveda such as introduction of the first interdisciplinary course – Ayurveda Biology together with the Ayurveda garden and herbarium of medicinal plants.
