Bahrain’s Ritz-Carlton welcomed Bernard de Villèle as new General Manager

The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain has appointed Bernard de Villèle as its new General Manager.

De Villèle brings with him almost four decades of experience in luxury hospitality and will oversee all operations of the luxury 5-star resort. It is including expanding the guest experience and ensuring excellence is elevated and maintained throughout.

De Villèle joins The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain from St. Regis Mexico City, where he helped cement the hotel as a landmark destination in Latin America.

His career began after graduating from the world-renowned École Hôtelièrede Lausanne in Switzerland. He has since worked across multiple continents at award winning properties including Senior Management and Executive Roles at Orient Express Hotels, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, Savoy Group, St. Regis, IHG and Four Seasons.

His passion and talent for the industry earned him recognition from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences when he was awarded as one of the finest hoteliers worldwide. De Villèle is looking forward to bringing his wealth of experience to the team at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain.
