Bandista Unveils Inventive New Cocktails and New Year’s Eve Party Plans at Four Seasons Hotel Houston

Bandista, the speakeasy bar and lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Houston, recently named #1 hotel in Houston and the #19 hotel in the world by Condé Nast Traveler, introduces new cocktails just in time for the holiday season of celebration.

Under the guidance of Beverage Manager Johnathan Jones, the new cocktails were created by Bandista’s bartenders and feature an enticing blend of creativity, innovation, showmanship, and old-fashioned quality preparation and care. Rich in flavour, they pay homage to the quality spirits and ingredients, and are prepared with elements of surprise and glamour.

Bandista’s new cocktails include:

Menage a Trois – Pushing the boundaries on what a cocktail actually is, this newest creation transforms a Brandy Alexander into a trio of experiences. First is a fog of Krigler’s “Established Cognac 66″ perfume, followed by made-to-order Brandy Alexander ice cream. Lastly, a cognac with an added nose of chocolate and the mouthfeel of cream creates a spirit-only version.
As American As… – This cocktail evokes traditional scents and tastes of the holidays by showcasing refreshing crisp apples with decadent dessert vibes. The layering of the drink allows for each aspect to shine on its own, with a bonus bite of butter-rich pie crust adding familiar comfort and an indulgent festive pairing.
Crime of Passion – A dangerously delicious twist on a traditional tiki cocktail, the combination of passion fruit, coconut, and tequila will transport guests to another time and place. This tangy concoction, served in a wooden cup, is set aflame at presentation.
Strawberry Fields For Now – Patrons will be taken down through strawberry and cabernet fields. This refreshing rum libation will elevate the senses with its subtle hints of balsamic and Fernet-Branca. Nothing to get hung about, the cocktail is accompanied by a goat cheese biscuit snack.


Bandista, which just added service on Wednesdays, also refined its extensive fine spirits list, as well as a small, curated selection of half bottles of wine and Champagne.

To celebrate the last night of 2022, Bandista is hosting a special New Year’s Eve Party on December 31. Guests who reserve a 90-minute seating between 5:00 pm and 12:00 midnight will have the option of ordering a la carte or selecting a NYE menu for USD 125, which includes a half bottle of Laurent-Perrier Champagne, a “bump” of caviar, and a cocktail of the guest’s choice from the Bandista menu (Menage a Trois not included). Guests of the 10:30 pm seating will also receive a molecular Champagne “toast” at the turn of the year.

“Since we discreetly opened Bandista earlier this year, it has quickly become one of the hottest seats in town,” says Tom Segesta, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Houston. “This new menu takes the Bandista experience to a new level, and we’re excited to welcome guests in for a journey of the senses.”
