Bareng Rural Municipality declared its tourist destinations

Bareng Rural Municipality has declared tourist destinations on the basis of cultural and touristy areas.

The tourist destinations have included two cultural places and four natural places in the Rural Municipality which has regarded tourist destinations as the first pillar of economic development.

The cultural places comprise well-known Satyawati Temple and Kalilek Siddhasthan as the selected places with immense natural beauty include Dhuri, Bhaise Jharana, Bhitriban Deurali and Bhatepokhara.

In the places so far declared, physical infrastructures would be set up and following publicity made to reap the benefits, said Chief Administrative Officer at the Rural Municipality, Ramesh Thapa.

As per Rural Municipality Chairperson, Krishna Prasad Sharma, the tourist destinations were recognized and declared in tandem with the policy framed by Gandaki State Ministry for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment.

Chairperson Sharma additionally explained that the statement of tourist destination would help make Visit Year 2020 victorious.

Administrative Officer Thapa further mentioned that the declaration was made also for the planned development activities. Priority was given to these areas with sufficient allocation of budget.

The Rural Municipality has aimed at achieving economic prosperity through tourism development.
