This will add additional impetus to the ambition of the company to assist in diversifying the economy of the country by building effective partnerships and aligning with the idea of the government to boost up tourism contribution to the GDP while offering local career opportunities at the same time.
Of late, the agreement was signed by Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Musandam, and Abdullah bin Humaid al Maamari, Chairman of ASAAS.
The agreement comprises developing a land area of 73,000 m2. It will feature two components; a four-star resort and a public park which will cater for the rising number of tourists to this beautiful beach.
Bassah Beach is one of the pristine beaches located between the rocky dark mountains of Musandam. It is strategically located near Khasab Airport, only 2.6 km from Khasab’s city centre.

He also said that Musandam is known for its natural beauty and has massive investment potential for similar projects.

He also said that such an approach is in tandem with the national strategy towards tourism development and economic diversification.
