Bayou & Bottle Bourbon Release Party at Four Seasons Hotel Houston

Join Bayou & Bottle this Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 5:30 pm for its hand-selected Garrison Brothers Single Barrel release party. Bayou & Bottle, a Richard Sandoval concept located in Four Seasons Hotel Houston, invites bourbon lovers from all over Houston to come try this specialty spirit. This special event will debut Bayou & Bottle’s four-and-a-half-year-old single barrel, picked in partnership with Garrison Brothers Head Distiller Donnis Todd and the team at Four Seasons Hotel Houston including General Manager Tom Segesta and Director of Food and Beverage Michael Rodriguez. This limited single barrel release yielded a total of 48 bottles, so bourbon lovers beware, the only place to taste this incredible creation this year is at Bayou & Bourbon.

“We are excited to continue our long-standing partnership with Garrison Brothers to offer this exclusive Bourbon. We are proud to say that we are one of the only vendors this year to partner and produce a single barrel pick with the Garrison Brothers team,” says Michael Rodriguez, the Food and Beverage Director at Four Seasons Hotel Houston.

“Our culinary and management team went down to the distillery and tasted through a half dozen barrels that had been aging anywhere from three to nine years. We stayed on the bottling line, filtered everything out of the barrel, and confirmed that we ended up with a stunning four-and-a-half-year-old bourbon that is proofed at 129, making it a cask strength. This is a product we are delighted to share that our entire team loved, and we all felt like it best represented the flavour profiles we wanted to put out into the world. We can’t wait for you all to taste it.”

Tickets will be priced at USD 55 per person available for purchase online with complimentary valet parking.

Beverage Menu: The beverage menu for the night will be highlighting the Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Cask Strength bourbon whiskey, which will only be available on the rocks or neat. Featured cocktails of the night include If by Whiskey, which consists of Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Texas Straight bourbon whiskey, Cointreau, agave, grenadine, and lime. Additionally, The Midnight Garrison is a perfect blend of Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Texas Straight bourbon whiskey, Lillet, and Aperol.

Food Menu: The curated, reception-style tasting menu will also be a celebration of flavours and bourbon. Start off the night savouring some light speck and prosciutto, followed by bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with parmesan. Heartier dishes include shrimp tacos glazed in bourbon, and drunk pulled pork drizzled in bourbon BBQ sauce on a brioche slider. Dessert will feature the restaurant’s signature bourbon chocolate mousse. For the trip home, guests will reminisce on all the delights of the evening with Bayou + Bottle’s signature bourbon pecan cookies.
