The 2024 Beaufort International Film Festival (BIFF) proudly announces its distinguished honorees:
- Gary Sinise is bestowed with the Pat Conroy Lifetime Achievement Award, hailing from Nashville, TN.
- Linda Lee from Charleston, SC, receives the esteemed Behind the Scenes Award.
- The accolade for Best Screenplay goes to “Just in Time,” crafted by Robbie Robertson of Columbia, SC.
- “Dandelion,” a creation by directors Ling Zhao and Zhengwu Gu from Sarasota, FL, captures the Best Animation category.
- Directed by D. Mitry in Albany, NY, “Hedgehog” shines as the Best Short Film.
- The Best Documentary Feature is awarded to “An Open Door: Temple Grandin,” directed by John Alexander Barnhardt from Fort Collins, CO.
- “The Volunteer,” under the direction of David Brodie in Los Angeles, CA, secures Best Documentary Short.
- “Long December,” directed by Thomas Torrey of Fort Mill, SC, is celebrated as the Best Feature Film.
- “The Martini Shot,” directed by Stephen Wallis from Edson, Alberta, Canada, wins for Best Ensemble Cast.
- The Best Music Score is attributed to Kevin Dailey for “Long December,” from Nashville, TN.
- Best Actress honors go to Vivian Kerr for her role in “Scrap,” from Los Angeles, CA.
- Thomas Torrey earns the Best Director title for “Long December,” representing Fort Mill, SC.
- “Back To Bridgewood,” directed by Kelsey Cooke of Nashville, TN, is lauded as the Best Comedy.
- The Audience Choice Award is bestowed upon “Long December,” directed by Thomas Torrey, Fort Mill, SC.
- Jodi Stefanick from Beaufort, SC, is celebrated as the Volunteer of the Year 2024.
