Japan is the land of the rising sun, wonderful beaches and tasty food. And the best signature food of Japan after sushi is the ramen. Noodles in a broth with braised pork slices and half boiled eggs are a comfort food for many. Japan has put the ramen and its instant cousin on the global food map and here we shall try to look into the best cities with the best ramen all across Japan.

Ramen has 3 types of broth and the regions of Sapporo, Tokyo and Fukuoka are famous for the miso, shoyu and tonkatsu respectively. But there are a host of other places to try ramen and here we will look into some of these gems.

If you are tired of the serenity, try your hand at the great outdoor sports possibilities including hiking, bungee jumping and skiing and snowboarding in winter.
