Hanging restaurants, as per the industry experts, is one of the popular ways to attract visitors towards Bilaspur. At the district’s Mandi Bharari junction, a new hanging restaurant will be built with the sole aim of drawing more visitors. Besides the restaurant, there will be other amenities as well like a food corner, stores selling necessities, an ATM, washrooms, a medical centre, and a play and park area for the little ones.
This launch, if reports are to go by, will come as an effort to provide tourists who are travelling along the Shimla-Chamba and Chandigarh-Manali routes added facilities and improving their travel experiences at the same time. At dhabas and hotels, when commuters stop by to rest after a long tedious drive, the tourist resort will become one of the most preferred locations.
Additionally, to endorse local handmade and agricultural produce, a Gramin Hatt will be opened as well. The authorities are hoped that such measures will help in generating new opportunities related to employment, and will provide visitors an alternative tourist attraction as well. In the meantime, the resort will provide roughly 100 spaces for parking.
