Botanical Alchemy Unveiled at One-Ninety Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

The iconic One-Ninety Bar kicks off a brand new season of cocktails with a line-up of 13 libations and a slew of bar nosh inspired by the tropical city state at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.

 

Tropics-Inspired Cocktails

 

Local produce takes the spotlight with some even handpicked from the Hotel’s very own organic garden. A perfect start to the collection, Night-Thyme is a rum and scotch Daiquiri mixed with banana liqueur and house-made cane syrup using sugar cane from the garden, graced with a touch of thyme salt. For a refreshing quencher, try the Orchard Getaway, a modern classic white Negroni cocktail starring the Hotel’s very own spiced lime cordial – the perfect drink for all-year-round summer weather in the heart of the city, Orchard.

 

Next, raise a toast to Singapore’s National Courtesy Campaign with the tongue-in-cheek elixir Courtesy Campaign, a Martini variation with spiced notes of curry leaf. A bold concoction, Courtesy Campaign promises to make one a whole lot kinder to others after a tipple or two!

 

Fragrant Pandan notes crown Garden Party, a whiskey and pisco sour with complementary warm nutmeg notes. A time travel potion, this is sure to take one back to the 1830s when Orchard Road once boasted several nutmeg and pepper plantations, and verdant spice gardens.

 

Gin & Tonics

 

Six heady Gin & Tonics also make their debut. From the herb dominated Fennel Effect Tonic to bitter citrus Parisian Tonic, floral botanicals are celebrated in these gentian liqueurs.

 

Good for a sharing party, Social Punch is the largest sharing brew in the city that is good for up to six. A classic favourite, this mix of Widges London dry gin, jasmine tea, Pierre Ferrand 1840 cognac and champagne refreshes and intrigues with citrus highlights, allspice pods, Thai lime leaves and juniper berries.

 

Bar Nosh

 

Expressing his creative flair and love for both Provençal cuisine and Asian flavours, Chef de Cuisine Kamarl John of modern Asian brasserie One-Ninety, presents an exquisite selection of bar bites to complement the new botanical-inspired cocktails.

 

Expect creative delights such as the banon goat cheese croquette with saffron aioli, smoked eggplant on sourdough with sansho pepper, Japanese chicken skewers with white sesame sauce and crispy crab cakes and roasted garlic aioli among other intriguing creations.
