In Brazil, the 2022 has marked the recommencement of tourism, and the movement of the international air network of the country is one of the prime metrics that establish the sector’s revival.

Brazilian air connectivity is on the rise each month, with the world operates at over 80 percent of the capacity observed in 2019. In the first half of 2022, the United States, Argentina, and Portugal were the countries with the maximum number of flights to Brazil, with 10,800 arrivals in all.

In first place, the United States is found among long-haul destinations, with 3,972 flights. Just after it, Portugal, with 2,661. Argentina, an adjacent country, to Brazil, it sent 4,250 flights, leading the connectivity ranking with the country in general.

As per Booking.com, the five most booked destinations in Brazil by foreign tourists, on the basis of a survey by the site, in July were: Rio de Janeiro, Foz do Iguaçu, São Paulo, Salvador and Fortaleza.

The Rock in Rio music festival is yet another important attraction, organized on September 2nd and continued till 11th.

It’s found that 10,000 travelers from 21 different countries had taken part in the show. This reveals the power that important events, like Rock in Rio, have to showcase international tourism, said Embratur president Silvio Nascimento.

As per the Federation of Trade in Goods, Services, and Tourism in São Paulo, as a whole, tourism earned 100 billion Brazilian real in the first half of 2022.
