British Airways this month has presented a variety of special touches to its onboard experience comprising a choice of sweet desserts for the Diwali celebrations along with Thanksgiving-inspired menus for customers travelling all over its network.
On November 12th, to revel the festival of lights, the airline for its customers is launching festive desserts across all inbound and outbound cabins of long-haul flights to India.
The customers of the airlines are travelling in Club World i.e., business class from London to India will get to take pleasure of Rasmalai, a famous sweet delicacy, originating from eastern part of India.
Those travelling in the premium economy class can relish Kesar Peda, a conventional North Indian sweet dish that is made from sugar, khoya, saffron and cardamom. It has a beautiful aroma of mouthwatering flavours and best liked as a post-meal sweet treat.
Customers travelling in the economy cabin of the airlines to India will be served Motichoor Laddoo, a popular Indian dessert, which is conventionally served on special occasions in the country.
Travellers on return flights from India, will be able to take pleasure in a range of Diwali-themed desserts across various routes as well. In Club World, Kaju Pista or Gulab Jamun, a fusion-filled dessert together with Rabdi will be served.
