British citizens are urged to control watering lawns and car washing. Temperatures are expected to hit 33C (91F) after yesterday saw highs of 29.5C (85F) in Wisley, Surrey.

And if the daily temperature reaches 28C or higher for the next eight days it will go down as the longest hot streak for four years.

The authorities said that it is time to save water as much as possible. The warm weather in the UK is record-breaking this time.

If reservoirs fall too low it could lead to a hosepipe ban which will remind the drought control measures last taken in 1976.

The media houses and the authorities have stated that it is high time for the British to learn to love a brown lawn. This will at least save lives.

Yorkshire Water has asked to do a four-minute wash only and they have created a playlist.

And Severn Trent urged customers to turn off the tap while they brush their teeth — and urged gardeners to use a watering can instead of a hose.

Anglian spokeswoman Sarah Castelvecchi said that they want everyone to enjoy the fabulous sunshine and increase outdoor activities.

Many state the new weather conditions are shaping the lifestyle of the UK citizens. However, in the initial stage, this might appear like a shock. However, it is urged that the citizens have to take control of their lifestyle to battle the changing weather conditions.
