Cold winds are being pushed towards the UK, by high pressure conditions. British Weather Services, meteorologist , Jim Dale has said that the continental air will usher in a cold start to the week before the Atlantic  weather conditions hit, bringing in more rain. The UK is in between winter and spring, these weather changes are associated with the transition. Britain is still the battleground between this colder Continental influence and the milder Atlantic conditions.

Next week, Britain will receive snowfall, that will bring the temperatures tumbling to a bone chilling -4C. The worst impacted region will be the south of England, where the temperatures will pummel down and 4 inches of snow an hour will coat some parts next Friday. Cairngorms, will receive heavy downpour, as per the weather maps from WXCharts.

On March 11, the real downpour will hit, most of Scotland, northern England, Northern Ireland and western Wales.  IPCC announced in its report that climate change will impact all parts of our society. The human-induced climate change, will have widespread impacts all over the world. Professor Richard Betts has said that several future climate-related risks will be more serious than the previous IPCC  assessments. This will increase the urgency to cut down greenhouse gas emissions to limit future warming to as low as possible.

The high pressure building over the UK, this weekend will move eastwards over Germany and Denmark early next week, according to NetWeather. The weather will turn increasingly unsettled and windy but milder from mid-week.

It is understood that there will be severe impact due to higher temperatures at later times, but it is now thought they could take place sooner than later. To prevent the worst of global warming caused by climate change, the report makes it clear, that preventive action needs to be taken soon within the decade.
