Tourism businesspersons in Pokhara are looking forward to better and sunnier business potential as the private sector’s Buddha Air is starting to function non-stop flight services between Pokhara and Bhadrapur from the 9th of this month.
Gautam Baral, the station manager of the Buddha Air said that air link concerning the eastern zone of Nepal to the western is going to deliver convenient services for passengers and Buddha Air is dedicated toward providing relaxed and appropriate services.
Pokhara International Airport will witness Buddha Air flight taking off for Bhadrapur in Jhapa district at 6:15 in the morning. The Bhadrapur to Pokhara flight is planned at 6:55 in the evening.
The non-stop flight between these two places would take a time of 1 hour 10 minutes. It is expected to make it easy for the passengers who are facing difficulties due to absence of non-stop flights and also aid in boosting domestic tourism.
Pom Narayan Shrestha, the Chairperson of the Pokhara Tourism Council expressed his assurance that the functioning of Pokhara International Airport and growing air routes with other districts would assist in elevation of native tourism.
Shrestha said that Pokhara is a city driven by tourism. Those who are interested to visit Pokhara from the eastern part of Nepal would be assisted by the non-stop flight services of the Buddha Air in addition to attracting Indian visitors to Pokhara.
