After British Airways cancels 10000 seats from the winter schedule, Ryanair added 1 million seats to the winter travels. The airline is Ireland based and is already considered an important budget airline.

Ryanair will add capacity for several locations. These include London Stansted, Manchester, Bristol, Glasglow, Edinburgh and Birmingham. Destinations like Spain, Italy, Portugal, Morocco, Greece and France will also take part in the situation.

The airline said that they are expecting to carry 166.5 million passengers in the entire 2022. The airline carried about 146 million people in the year 2019.

Ryanair Group CEO Michael O’Leary said that Ryanair is going to offer the largest ever schedule for winter travels.

The airline is trying to get hold of the many possibilities of business in the post-pandemic era. Earlier the airline had to cancel six flights in Spain for the four-day strike.

Coming at the peak summer tourist season the company has been struggling with budget cuts and labour cuts. EasyJet has also decided to resume services this weekend. Thus it has become very important for the business to grab as many customers as possible.

Ryanair has added another 500 flights at Stansted to control the October half-term shortages. This decision is also impacted by the British Airways cut. 500 flights to their London Stansted airport. The decision will also help keep balance in the demands of the rising number of passengers.

Michael O’Leary, who is the executive of a low-cost airline has informed that this means a huge amount of passenger capacity can be attained now. The 100000 passengers can travel with the help of airlines. This will fill the gap created by British Airways.
