Consequently two of the members of the group had to be sent to the hospital where they received treatment for some minor injuries and the rest of the group were not hurt at all.
According to the regional news agencies of Iceland the bus was carrying 25 Taiwanese tourists.
Actually it had crashed into a snow removing truck Wednesday afternoon in the northeastern part of the island.
Wang then added that the windshield of the bus was shattered and two of the tour group members sustained minor injuries and went sent to the hospital for treatment soon afterwards. They have been discharged from the hospital and the remaining group is ready to continue with its schedule.
He said that owing to the increased snow the agency has arranged for the group to return to Reykjavik.
They are all slated to return to Taiwan on 26th November.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, the Taipei Representative Office to Denmark got in touch with Red Cross Iceland to derive details of the situation after reports of the accident were received.
