Canada visa for Greece citizens

Every citizen of Greece will require a Canada visa or visa waiver to enter the country on a legal basis. To enter Canada, Greek citizens are required to apply for a Canada eTA visa, for all general tourism purpses, business, and transit as well as medical reasons. A sanctioned Canada Visa Waiver from Greece will work as a multiple-entry travel approval that permits the holder to stay in Canada for as much as 6 months, with complete airport entry at every corner of the country. To enter and stay in the country, one only needs to apply for a Canadian ETA. The Canadian government, for Greek citizens, in 2016, launched the Canadian eTA online visa waiver which can be available through a simple application. Please keep in mind that once Canada visa waiver has been granted, it gets linked to the Greek passport electronically that’s used by the traveler when completing the application. The Canadian Tourist Travel Authorization is applicable for five years or until the associated passport gets null and void. For Greek citizens, the Canadian eTA can be applied online as well to get a permitted travel authorization linked to the passport of the tourist electronically, getting rid of the need to visit an embassy or consulate office to submit a visa application.

All citizens living in Greece should have a valid bio-metric passport. It should be issued by the Greek government with a minimum validity of 6 months, in order to get a Canadian eTA visa.
