After weeks of disruption Eurostar has announced more cancellation from Paris to the UK for today and tomorrow. There has been delays and cancellation in the Eurostar services because of the industrial action at Paris Gare du Nard, starting off more than three weeks ago.
Until the end of March the cancellations would last but the rail line further confirmed of several more cancellations of trains from Paris to the UK have been cancelled on and before 4 April.
Passengers can avail a full refund or switch their ticket to a later date. They were suggested to check the Eurostar website and social media channels before travelling. Other routes apart from stations other than Paris should not be affected by the disruption.
After a trespasser outside St Pancras station in London had all services to Paris and Brussels on a halt. It started on Friday night when a man draped in a St George flag went close to the high speed lines and due to this the overhead wires could not be switched on.
Before 9 am on Saturday the British Transport Police announced that a 44-year-old man was a trespasser and the Channel Tunnel train operator said that their services will be operative soon.
Till then they were suggested not to travel in the morning or to cancel their journey etc.
Some of the passengers wanted to know from where travellers could switch to the London Underground.
It has been a bad month for Eurostar due to the industrial action by French frontier officials and there are long queues at Paris Gare du Nord due to delayed trains.
