Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, an award-winning ocean front resort on Oahu’s tranquil western coast, is welcoming families to a summer retreat to relax, reset and reconnect with an abundance of activities to keep the entire ‘ohana engaged. From July to September, Four Seasons invites guests to create new memories together with a lineup of traditional and non-traditional summer camp-style activities, with a luxury backdrop and all the comforts of Four Seasons.

From outrigger sailing canoe rides and skateboarding camp, to graffiti painting workshops and evening stargazing, there is no shortage of family-friendly activities.

Four Season Resort Oahu summer programming highlights include:

Artist in Residence: Nick Kuchar – Artist Workshop

Join Nick Kuchar, Four Seasons Artist in Residence, for an open-house style artist workshop.  Guests can work alongside Nick to create their own custom art.  All ages welcome.

Proper Rideshop x Four Seasons Skateboarding Camp

Rideshop – Hawaii’s premier youth development skateboarding training facility – for a special skate camp “dropping in” over the holidays.  Mini-shredders ages 7-17 will learn the fundamentals of skateboarding and safety skills, while also building social, mental and physical skills.

MelonJames Graffiti Workshop

Explore the world of mixed-media art with renowned graffiti artist and muralist MelonJames during a special graffiti workshop. Inspired by his surroundings, Melon has travelled the world – from Chicago and Japan to Hawaii, painting the streets with striking blues and turquoise, bold pinks, rich greens, along with his signature abstract Waves style. Join Melon for a unique, hands-on workshop in graffiti-style art.

Ka’aumoana Sailing Canoe – Teen Sail

Experience Ka’aumoana, an exclusive ocean activities program with sailing, paddling and snorkelling excursions centred on the Hawaiian wa’a experience.  Under the direction of #FSWayfinder Nakoaokalani Prejean, experienced watermen and women will guide teens on a multitude of safe, open ocean experiences. Each ocean journey highlights the mo’omeheu Hawai’i (Hawaiian culture) and the mo’olelo (history and stories) of Oahu’s ruggedly beautiful leeward coast, led by certified ocean guides to protect and perpetuate the unspoiled natural beauty of West Oahu’s pristine marine environment – frequented by humpback whales, spinner dolphins and Hawaiian green sea turtles.

Keiki Glamping – Kids For All Seasons

Enjoy an evening of camping, Four Seasons-style.  Glamping includes a fun night-out for the kids featuring tents, games, crab hunting on the beach and a movie.  Reservations are required.

Muhala Sound Bath Ritual – Naupaka Spa & Wellness Center

Relax to a meditative state during this guided sound bath experience with Pi’iali’i Lawson, an intuitive energy re-alignment practitioner.  Using crystal sound bowls, chimes and a tuning fork, sound therapy helps to reduce stress, calm the mind, relieve anxiety, realign and balance  energetic bodies, and much more.  Private Muhala Sound Journey sessions are also available for families to experience together.

Stargazing with Stars Above Hawaii – #FSWAYFINDERS

Enjoy an evening of stargazing and astronomical education at Four Seasons. Learn about Hawaiian star lines and ancient Polynesian voyaging, take in magnificent views of the moon, the planets, stars, star clusters, stellar nurseries, galaxies, and much more.  Call the Concierge for weekly schedule.

Resin Painting Art Workshop – #FSWAYFINDERS

Local resin artist Christian Bendo will guide guests through the steps to create their own unique painting on a mini wooden surfboard or wooden ornament, glossed with smooth resin.

Lauhala Weaving Workshop – #FSWAYFINDERS

Join Pi’iali’i Lawson, an intuitive ancestral weaver representing generations of lauhala weavers, healers, and practitioners, for a one-hour lauhala workshop. He infuses his intuitive energy practice and connection to ancestors in his workshops and handwoven creations. Learn the traditional technique and practices of weaving and create a unique lauhala creation.

In addition to the family highlights, Kids For All Seasons is the Resort’s complimentary kids program for children ages 5-12 and open daily between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Children are invited to participate in memorable and educational experiences in a casual, fun environment. Kids For All Seasons takes advantage of the property’s expansive grounds and laid-back Hawaiian feel. The hub of activity is located within the state-of-the-art Kids For All Seasons centre – complete with a media room, a creativity aone and a game room.  Reservations are recommended for Kids For All Seasons.
