Centara Hotels and Resorts provide rooms to medical workers

Thailand’s leading hotel operator, Centara Hotels and Resorts has launched an initiative to support courageous medical staff amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The leading hospitality firm has decided to provide complimentary hotel rooms and meals to healthcare professionals in need of accommodation and food.

 

 

Centara Grand Hotels at CentralWorld in Bangkok has already started to help out doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff from the Police Hospital since the beginning of the month and have decided to continue until the situation gets better. On the other hand, Centara Muscat Hotel Oman has offered 120 rooms to the Omani government to use as a quarantine zone with food delivery services thrice per day.

 

 

With the help of this initiative Centara group aims to save the time and energy of medical staff who are tirelessly working from the frontline during the time of the global health crisis. The company wants to provide healthcare workers convenient access to food and accommodation so that they can return to work as refreshed and recharged as possible.

 

 

Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO, Centara Hotels and Resorts said in a press statement that the company has decided to provide support to medical stuff in every way possible. He shared that as a hotel operator offering rooms and meals is the best way to help out individuals who are constantly working for the well-being and safety of other people. He mentioned that the company is hopeful that the humble contribution can help to eliminate some of the strain and stress for healthcare workers with regard to finding accommodation and travelling long hours. He ensured that the company stands by the medical professionals in the grave hour of need and they can get rest near their work without the hassle of commuting long hours as well as return to work refreshed.

 

 

Besides providing help to healthcare workers, Centara Hotels & Resorts is also supporting social distancing and stay at home initiatives. The company also recently introduced a high-quality delivery service to take food to people’s homes during the crisis.
