London’s legendary jazz club Ronnie Scott’s in will host a charity concert in January to raise money for the Caribbean island of Anguilla
The benefit concert is called Rebuild, Rise Up, will be held from 6.30pm on Sunday, January 7, 2018.
The island is recovering from the impact of hurricanes Irma and Maria.
The proceeds will go to the Anguilla Foundation and the concert is being oragnised by Dune Preserve beach bar on Anguilla’s Rendezvous Bay.
Reggae star Bankie Banx, Morcheeba and Ayanna Witter-Johnson will perform in the concert.
The organisers expects to raise enough money from the event and help rebuild educational facilities that got damaged in the hurricanes.
