CityProg 2023 – A major game changer

BODW City Program is the ‘beyond the main stage’ Hong Kong design festival of Business of Design Week Summit. It has been hosted by the Hong Kong Design Centre, together with the help of Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as the main sponsor.

The main theme of the sixth edition of the CityProg – ‘Game Changers’, is mainly focusing on ‘Communicating Circularity’ and ‘Celebrating Local Game Changers’. In three directions namely – ‘Design and City’, ‘Design and Business’, and ‘Design and Lifestyle’, it’s actually preparing the way for a sustainable future.

The CityProg’s 2023 edition sparks more than 100 design-related events. These will happen in November and December, starting from 23 rd November to 17 th December.

The Chairman of HKDC, Prof. Eric Yim, said that ‘CityProg’ has been determined to encourage design thinking and local design to the public. Also, fostering design and cultural discussion in the last six years. The CityProg in 2023 has joined hands with Netherlands and France partners to make use of Hong Kong’s distinctive advantages as East and West’s cultural melting pot and tell the good stories of Hong Kong and the Motherland, by understanding the strategic positioning of Hong Kong.
