A monsoon sightseeing of the mist-covered hill station of Vagamon in Idukki is for sure to offer a breathtaking experience for travelers. Currently, winds of change are blowing across the tourism industry and the segment is accepting all modifications with sanguinity.
In order to bring in a change, the hoteliers have created a group with the intention of implementing comprehensive tourism-related projects in Vagamon. The first occasion under the auspices of Vagamon Destination Makers will take place on July 18 and 19.
Hundreds of tour operators and travel agencies from diverse regions of India will take part in the programme. In addition, the best travel agencies from different Indian states will be part of the first version ‘Fam 2 Malabar 500’ programme, which is a marketing programme presented by the tourism minister of Kerala.
In order to make the travel agencies familiar to Vagamon, they will be taken on a visit to the hill station. The Vagamon Destination Makers will also organize a B2B tourism meet up by associating with well-known resorts in the region.
Discussions and instructions will be held considering the prospects and challenges of Vagamon in the tourism segment. Furthermore, efforts would be made to lure foreign tourists to Vagamon and come up with a platform to hold an investor meet to draw investment to this admired Kerala tourist destination.
