Conventa 2019 starts in Ljubljana

Conventa 2019, the 11th exhibition for convention tourism in SE Europe started in Ljubljana on Wednesday. This two-day event features 125 visitors from 15 countries and 178 invited guests from 44 countries.

The event’s focus was on countries in Eastern and SE Europe. These are thought of as developing and exotic destinations and have high demand among organizers of business trips.

Around 90% of foreign organizers of business meetings are new to Conventa this year. The biggest increase was from exhibitors from the Western Balkans.
