Leading Courses has revealed the ninth edition of its “Europe’s Best Golf Resorts” ranking, with Costa Navarino in Greece claiming the number one spot.
The ranking is determined by traveller feedback, with the scores split equally between ratings from leadingcourses.com and hotel and resort reviews from Booking.com. Resorts not featured on Booking.com are excluded from consideration, regardless of their prestige.
Extra points are given to resorts that feature multiple golf courses, as more holes enhance the overall golfing experience. In cases of a tie, the golf course rating is used to break the deadlock. If there’s still no distinction, the tied positions are shared. For many golf enthusiasts, a resort with multiple courses is a significant draw, offering the convenience and luxury of enjoying different courses without leaving the property.
