Covid-19 vaccines are not available for tourists in Abu Dhabi, said the officials.
Previously it was thought that tourist visa holders could get vaccinated in the UAE capital, due to a misunderstanding of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) app. Now, Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has said that only residence and entry visa holders are eligible to be vaccinated.
Abu Dhabi Government Media Office stated, “Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has issued a reminder that free Covid-19 vaccines are available to everyone with an expired residency visa or expired entry visa, which does not include holders of valid tourist or visit visas.”
