Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts ramp up developments in Asia Pacific

Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park and Crowne Plaza Phuket Panwa Beach, in Thailand are currently owned by the the Crowne group. The group is currently open two more in Bangkok named Crowne Plaza Bangkok Grand Sukhumvit and Crowne Plaza Bangkok Rama 9. They are the world’s largest and best known upscale brands and are continuing to grow their presence across the Asia-Pacific.

The hotel Crowne Plaza Bangkok Grand Sukhumvit will open in 2022. It will become their flagship and their largest hotel with 514 rooms. They will also be offering signature WorkLife guest. The 275-room Crowne Plaza Bangkok Rama 9, will be located within  the Siamese Rama 9 opening in 2025.

They are expanding very quickly in the Asia-Pacific. They are ideal location for the modern business traveller through a purposeful design that offers flexible spaces to work, meet and relax, while satisfying and inspiring the needs of its guests both personally and professionally.

IHG Hotels Vice President of Development, South East Asia and Korea, Serena Lim has said that their desire for personal reconnection, continues to increase. Global travellers are rebuilding their work and personal relationships by taking trips and being with one another again.  She believes that the Crowne Group is best suited for perfectly balancing the work life balance.

Their properties in Vietnam, Thailand and Australia and the plans to develop the brands in other places like Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia will help them show their global brand appeal. Globally, there are more than 400 open Crowne Plaza hotels, and over 90 in the pipeline. Across Asia Pacific, there are more than 160 open Crowne Plaza hotels, and over 75 in the pipeline.
