Cuba tourism destinationThe town of Remedios, in the Villa Clara district of central Cuba, is a wonderful blend of reds, yellows and teals – all the psychedelic stucco that’s pleasing for the eyes.

The new president of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel, 58, is breaking the Castro line and initiating changes.

Cuba hosted more than five million tourists last year, going up by over 20 per cent from 2014.

The Cuban government wants Britons to come. Around 200,000 British people come to Cuba every year at the moment. The aim is to draw 500,000 British tourists per year. The capital of Cuba Havana is poised to become Venice or Paris in the near future, and is a must-see historic spot. Infrastructure is getting developed, with many five-star hotels under construction.
