CzechTourism launches new website to promote tourism

CzechTourism, the official tourism board of the Czech Republic, recently announced that it has decided to launch a brand new website to promote Czech Republic tourism. The new site has a modern look and comes with approximately 20,000 articles available in ten languages. It has also been made in a way that allows users seeking Czech-based information and inspiration to easily navigate through the site.

The website is also made to act as a marketing campaign tool and offers information to foreign tourists. It would also contribute to bring the beauty of the Czech Republic closer to tourists. The basis of the platform is new editorial material and updated text from the original tourism website. The project team was led by Pavlína Kvapilová, a consultant and former director of the ČT Nová media division.

In addition, the new website will also emphasise on unique content reflecting current events, with the aim of serving as most useful tool for tourism management in the Czech Republic. The foreign representatives of CzechTourism and the regional destination company participated in the preparation of the content, translations and proofreading of foreign language texts. As a part of the next step, the site will be linked to campaigns and add new functionalities.
