Darjeeling all set to reopen its tourism from Sep 7th

In Darjeeling, the gorgeous hill station of West Bengal at the Himalayan foothills, are anticipated to reopen all hotels, homestays, resorts, and enterprises related to tourism on September 7th, 2020. In a joint meeting arranged in the town, the coordination committee came up with this proposal today.


To quote a media release, “Probably date to open the hotels, resorts, and homestays is 7th September, 2020 in GTA areas as decided in the meeting by Darjeeling Hotel Association and Himalayan Transport Coordination Committee. The GTA(Gorkha Territorial Administration) will be intimated to act accordingly and will be requested to do conference building campaigns in the hills and issue SOPs.”
