Weather experts have put Europe on alert, warning that an Arctic polar weather front might plunge the continent into freezing temperatures. Europe remains on alert for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday due to significant drop in temperature and periods of heavy snow.

Experts have predicted that temperatures will further plunge throughout the continent and that entire continent was at increased risk of snowfall across most regions.

Belgium, Alpine, Netherlands and Scandinavia are among the risky regions for a huge snow dump.

Snow is supposed to wind down by the midday and afternoon hours on Monday. As per experts, temperatures might drop into the single digits for the morning drive on Tuesday under a clear sky. Quiet weather conditions are expected in the morning, with another cold front supposed to be pushing in by afternoon. Temperatures will hover in the low 20s as highs with increasing cloud figure.

Another round of snow is likely to move on Tuesday evening thro9ugh Wednesday. Additional accumulation has been predicted as the temperature is likely to continue in the single digits by Wednesday morning.

Residents can expect a clear sky by Thursday morning.

Sunshine and slightly warm weather might return by Friday and Saturday.

Earlier this week, the Met Office issued yellow weather warnings for the UK. The experts had cautioned that most mountains in Scotland will be experiencing snowfall.

Meanwhile, a flood warning is already in place for the UK, mainly affecting Central England and Wales. The country is supposed to be drenched in the next 36 hours.
