Delhi government’s mobile app “DekhoMeriDilli” can be used now for booking a visit to Mughal Garden, which is opening to visitors from Monday, along with other major tourist spots, said Swati Sharma, MD, Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation.
She said that the app will provide users with a link to the Mughal Garden ticketing site and it would have details like how to reach the area and what facilities are available in the adjoining areas.
The app was launched by CMArvindKejriwal on September 27 last year. “DekhoMeriDilli” recently added details of the biodiversity parks developed and maintained by Delhi Development Authority and the Bharat Darshan Park developed by South Delhi Municipal Corporation for giving a holistic experience of Delhi to visitors.
Using this app, visitors will have unique ways to discover Delhi, including helping tourists plan a city tour, from half a day to six days. The app will also provide directions to a tourist attraction via Google Maps, its operational days and timings and even nearest public and paid toilet facilities.
Sharma said that the app can be used to book tickets to visit major tourist destinations in the city, without requiring visitors to stand in queue.
