Delhi Metro is ready to sell Tourist Smart Cards via special kiosks at 36 stations in Delhi starting from
September 4-13. This has been done expecting that the capital of India is probable to see augmented pace of passengers because of the imminent G20 Summit in in the city. There are two groups of Tourist Smart Cards that are being presented: one with 1-day value, and the other will present a 3-day validity, and limitless journeys in the metro system.
These Tourist Smart Cards will be obtainable on regular days as well, but devoted counters have been created bearing in mind the G20 Summit. Passengers can obtain these cards for a time span of 10 days, said a senior official.
The G20 Leaders’ Summit is scheduled to happen in New Delhi from September 9-10, for which traffic rules have also been provided for problem-free movement of people and luminaries at the same time.
As per reports, there will be special kiosks that will simplify G20 representatives and global visitors who
might be eager to find out the conspicuous tourist spots of the capital city as they reach Delhi, because of
the impending G20 Summit.
The 1-day Tourist Smart Card would be obtainable for INR 200, while the 3-day card would be obtainable for INR 500.
