Delhi is preparing to get an eco-adventure tourism park that will feature the city’s first-ever staycation facility with 20 AC cottages. This tourism park has been developed by Delhi Government’s Tourism for boosting night tourism and providing a ‘countryside experience’ to Delhiites. The park is located on the outskirts of Southwest Delhi’s Kanganheri Village near Najafgarh.

Known as Haritima adventure eco-tourism park, this park is spread across an area of more than 16 acres, and will open to the public from Wednesday. The principal aim behind this park is to bring people closer to nature, providing them with a countryside experience.

Although there would be no entry fee for visiting the park during the day, the cost of staying in cottages will be INR 5000 per night for two people, which is inclusive of pool and food options. People can book these cottages online and offline. Besides the ‘staycation’ facility, the tourism department has also developed a ‘village’ to provide a rural experience to tourists, where there will be mini farmlands for witnessing the process of farming. There will be other facilities too like hot tubs, indoor games, heated community pools, a fitness center, and free Wi-Fi.

The park will have adventure activities like boat rides, zip-lining, wall-climbing, among others. Activities like canoeing and kayaking will also initiated in the coming days.
