One of the major airline organizations in the United States, Delta Airlines recently launched new and expanded service plans with an increased number of flights and upgraded aircraft for the summer season.
The new service plans offer three-time daily service to Dallas or Fort Worth, a brand new nonstop service to Columbus and Ohio as well as expanded services to 12 well-known destinations like Atlanta, Austin, Anchorage, Boston, Bozeman, Boise, Idaho, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Mont, Orlando, Spokane, Tampa, Washington–Dulles and Wash. The airline is committed to its customers and aims to offer the Seattle customers better options for summer travel as compared to earlier services.
With these additions Delta Airlines will offer 190 departures on a daily basis. The expanded service route from the west coast hub, Seattle-Tacoma international airport will go up to 56 different destinations.
Tony Gonchar, Vice President, Delta Airlines said in a press statement that the customers and their demand for new destinations, superior reliability, award-winning service and commitment to seat-back entertainment are the major driving forces behind Delta’s continuous growth and expansion in Seattle. He also mentioned that coupled with the airlines’ extensive partnership from Seattle on Virgin Atlantic, Aeromexico, Air France and Korean Air customers can be ensured a hassle-free and seamless journey all across the globe.
In addition, Delta Airlines also plans to introduce nonstop service to London’s Heathrow in 2021. This route, once established, will make Delta the leading airlines to offer maximum service to most global destinations in Seattle. London will be a part of Delta’s nine existing international markets.
The summer season has always attracted vacationers and hence Delta’s new summer service from Seattle would include the best leisure and business destinations. The service to Tampa will open as early as this month. This will be followed by a fourth flight addition to Boston. The beginning of summer season would see an additional flight to Kansas City and Washington D.C each, as well as twice-daily flights to Bozeman, Mont. Convenient evening service to Atlanta will be added for business travellers. In addition, more flights and seats would be added to Atlanta, Anchorage, Las Vegas, Boise, Spokane and Washington.
The Airbus A220 aircraft will operate three daily flights to Dallas or Fort Worth, a new daily flight to Columbus, Ohio and an additional flight to Austin. Meanwhile, a separate Boeing 737-900 aircraft will operate a second flight to Orlando. These services will officially launch on 8th June 2020.
