Destination Siem Reap networking day hosted jointly

Destination Mekong (DM) and Siem Reap Tourism Club (STC) jointly hostedtheir first Destination Siem Reap networking day under the theme ‘Together Smarter Stronger’ on 25th March.

As aninventive and shared event, Destination Siem Reap was mainlydevoted to the group of specialists in travel, tourism, hospitality and associated sectors, particularlycurrent and prospectiveassociates/partners of DM and STC. It mostlypointed to encourage business partnerships and public-private cooperationand help create tourism revenue and work prospects in Siem Reap and Cambodia, and more extensively in the bigger Mekong sub-region.

Destination Mekong and Siem Reap Tourism Club also planned to enable a lively and wide-ranging platform to exchange stories, know-hows, and worthy practices while providing anability to speak to those who are oftenleft out from normal conversations.

Destination Siem Reap happened with the supports of the Kingdom of Cambodia Ministry of Tourism and was backed by AZ Group as main partner along with Sapathana Bank. This local networking event was the first mutualfeat of DM and STC, lending life to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU),which they had inked during last year’s Destination Mekong summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The Destination Siem Reap program’sfocal part happenedduring the morning at Memoire Angkor Palace. It began with a multiplayer networking breakfast in the garden. After that, there was a workshop including two sessions on upholdingSiem Reap as a sustainable tourism destination, and boosting Siem Reap as a smart tourism destination.
