The direct Air India flight between Kolkata and London is slated to restart next week is surely a connection revival between the two cities.

This is definitely an important step towards reconnecting Kolkata with the rest of the world, as the city gradually opens its travel services in the next few months. Besides the UK, the flight will allow travelers to visit the rest of Europe along with the US, thus putting an end to the last few isolation months owing to the pandemic.

Two other airlines — Emirates and SpiceJet — will also play a vital role connecting Kolkata with Dubai, which is a global airline hub with connections to the rest of the world.
