A new travel link between Germany and the Arctic has been established with the launch of Discover Airlines’ seasonal service between Frankfurt and Alta. The route has been positioned as the carrier’s northernmost European connection within the Lufthansa Group. The inaugural flight reached Alta after a journey of roughly three and a half hours. This new option is expected to support winter travel patterns, especially as interest in Arctic destinations continues to rise. The service will run from early December through the middle of April. During this period, up to two flights per week are planned.
