The resort will be the 15th Disney Vacation Club property and will add 300 new timeshare units to Disney’s popular alternative to typical hotel lodging. The property is inspired by the architecture seen by Walt Disney and his family on trips to Europe in the 1930s.
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed home by a palm tree-lined boulevard. The resort will boast grand archways and porticos, tower and terraces. Each detail of the property has influences of Europe and the Mediterranean.
An elegant setting appointed with a mix of modern and classic 20th-Century furnishings is in the main lobby. A unique art collection celebrating beloved Disney Characters and icons also adorn the property.
Beautiful gardens, fountains, lush landscape and a serene waterfront are among the other attractions.
The property celebrates the grandeur of Europe inspired by the greatest Disney stories with its castles and fairy-tale villages. Spacious 1-Bedroom Villas, 2-Bedroom Villas and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas add to the beauty of the property.
A walkway tunnel at Disney’s Riviera Resort will be showcasing two stunning mosaic murals showcasing Disney storytelling of European tales.
Both mosaic murals will be huge installations that will be recessed into the tunnel walls and spanning across the arched ceiling. Each of the two pieces will highlight a unique story set along the tunnel wall and will be joined at the top by a shared mosaic sky.
Riviera Resort will be having its own station for guests. The Skyliner is supposed to connect several nearby resorts to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme parks.
