Dominic Scoles has joined St. Regis Maldives Vommuli as hotel manager to lead its operations.
He has moved from Turks and Caicos to join the new luxury private island resort. He holds more than ten years of experience and is a seasoned professional.
His job profile will include day-to-day operations of the resort, its staff and looking the financial management for the property.

He will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing all hotel services that will include front-of-house, food and beverage operations and housekeeping.
He said that he felt honoured to part of the larger Marriott group and was geared up to overlook the operations of the property and its offerings.
Scoles started his career in 2005 as general manager for a lounge in Arizona.
He became the project manager for the launch of three hotel after serving for three hotels that included the W Scottsdale where he took the role of director of food and beverage.
He shifted to Los Angeles as director of food and beverage in 2009 for the dining venues at W Hollywood.
He then joined as the hotel general manger at coastal resort in Mexico.
He later joined Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in California as director of bars and restaurants
Alexander Blair, general manager at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort was happy to have Dominic on board.
He said that his expertise in managing luxury resorts and top dining destinations will be an asset to the resort’s operations.
