Lately, the Dubai Tourist Police Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation had arranged a ‘Tourism Security Awareness Forum’. This was intended to teach Emirate’s hospitality sector on smart police services, security procedures and public safety protocols.

Under the guidance of Lieutenant General, Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Dubai Police’s Commander-in-Chief, the forum was arranged. It was also organized upon the directives of Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Major General and assistant commander-in-chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police, and Brigadier Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, director of CID at Dubai Police.

Col Al Jallaf, director of the Tourist Police Department, emphasized that the forum featured lectures on different services that are offered by the Dubai Police and Dubai Economy and Tourism Department. These were associated with cases related to drug abuse, cybercrimes, and issues related to it, SPS services, recurring reports, and 901 services.

The event was hosted with a target to increase awareness among hospitality sector workers, enhance their communication skill and share their experiences in different entities and departments in Dubai.
