Dubai propels a program known as Modern Heritage for preserving heritage structures

DubaiDubai has recently boosted a program known as Modern Heritage; this program has been launched by the Dubai Municipality. It expects to secure some of the momentous structures built when the city was initially starting its fast development. Most of the architecture will be protected from the mid-20th century. The historic structures will be a very popular destination for anyone including the tourists who pour in from all over the world to experience the Dubai city tours and its rich culture.

 
The city has started preserving buildings to maintain their heritage culture. The project will be controlled by the city’s planning sector and the architectural heritage sector. Few of these buildings which have been shortlisted include the First Skyscraper, the Deira Clocktower, the Al Ras Library, the Al Baraha Hospital and the Al Khuloud Nursery.
On Dubai city tours, people will explore the contrast between past and present of Dubai. One can get a glimpse of an urban, traditional, architectural and natural side of this ever-evolving city.

 
Each building has its own particular structural style that makes the establishment on which Dubai has pushed forward its improvement. After these buildings were built, Dubai prospered in commercialization and emerged as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

 
The tourism factor hyped so much that currently around 150 skyscrapers stand in the city and more are underway with regard to development and planning. Burj Khalifa holds the following records in the world: Tallest building in the world, a tallest free-standing structure in the world, the highest number of stories in the world. The city also contains the world’s tallest hotel adding another skyscraper to the already towering skyline, The Gevora Hotel stands at an astonishing 356 meters and has 528 luxurious rooms. It is one meter higher than the earlier record holder, the JW Mariott Marquis, which is also in Dubai.
