Dubai propels a program known as Modern Heritage for preserving heritage structures

Dubai has recently boosted a program known as Modern Heritage; this program has been launched by the Dubai Municipality. It expects to secure some of the momentous structures built when the city was initially starting its fast development. Most of the architecture will be protected from the mid-20th century. The historic structures will be a very popular destination for anyone including the tourists who pour in from all over the world to experience the Dubai city tours and its rich culture.

 
The city has started preserving buildings to maintain their heritage culture. The project will be controlled by the city’s planning sector and the architectural heritage sector. Few of these buildings which have been shortlisted include the First Skyscraper, the Deira Clocktower, the Al Ras Library, the Al Baraha Hospital and the Al Khuloud Nursery.
