E-cigarette triggers evacuation of London’s Euston station

Euston stationPolice authorities have mentioned that an e-cigarette is responsible for triggering a small explosion at London Euston railway station.

 

The station, thereafter was shut down for about 90 minutes. During this point of time, the entire station was investigated by the British Transport Police (BTP).

 

Luckily, nobody has been injured at the station as a consequence of this incident that had been reported around 19.40 p.m. Network Rail advised that major disruptions would continue throughout the day.

 

Euston Road was then closed in both directions between Melton Street and Judd Street and now it has been reopened.

 

People took to the many social media platforms to express the chaos on account of the incident, and how it led to people scattering away and making attempts to run away from the scene.
