The old Beeching railway cuts as part of a 100 billion investment in trains are to be reversed, unveiling the plan by Boris Johnson. The East Midlands becomes the big winner in the shake-up. The prime minister faced a furious backlash from Northern Tories seeing their rail investment plans vastly watered down. The Northern Powerhouse Rail will not get its own high-speed rail track in the Manchester part.
The PM is ready to invest billions into the East Midlands Parkway station and complaining up train links in the region, creating thousands of jobs. The old Maid Marian Line reopens and Robin Hood Line extended for the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire better link. The railway plans can be better and bigger claimed by the source of Downing Street.
Last night, at Downing Streets, the PM launches his Red Wall Tory backbenchers by offering them boozy drinks. After a torrid couple of weeks stuck by immorality which has seen connections between backbenchers and No. 10 nosedive. Every Tory MP elected for the first time in 2019 offered drinks to Boris.
